WOWZA!!! What a deal! Toys R Us has a 2-Day Sale coming up (FRI 11/13 & SAT 11/14) with Doorbusters, and the Leapfrog Alphabet Pal is on the front page for $10.49 as a Doorbuster (Friday 3PM-12AM, and Sat 7AM-1PM). Stop by and pick up their sales flier.
Take that entire sales flier and go to Target using the Alphabet Leapfrog $10 off coupon for the same item HERE. Target of course price matches. You will score this deal for only 49¢!!
You will have to take the sales flier to the Target customer service desk the very same day during the sale hours. Would make for some nice Christmas Gifts! Enjoy! I wonder how many Targets you can hit in one day
.
Thanks, SD.

[...] Just remember that you need to bring the full TRU sales circular and shop during the same hours of the sale (Friday 3PM-12AM, and Sat 7AM-1PM). Have this item price matched at the Guest Service desk. This would make a wonderful donation to Toys For Tots! Thanks Mojo Savings. [...]

If you got the $10 gift card from TRU from the $25 spent on Hasbro games-you could just by it at TRU and use the gift card for $10 and still get it for .49 cents.

Alaina,
I have not heard that. In fact, I’ve heard that they do. It is definitely worth a shot.

Deal does not work since Target does not honor coupons w/ price matching. I went to a few managers and asked even. I apologize for those that went out to try and get this. They will honor a coupon or the competitor price…

Melissa,
I’m sorry to hear that it didn’t work for you. It has in fact worked for some people (depends on the manager). It appears Target has not been clear in their policy as it relates to door busters. The only thing mentioning no door busters was an internal memo and not in corporate policy. For more and up to date chatter on this deal. Stop by this blog:

Did not work at my Target either. She even pulled out a brochure showing no doorbuster or timed sales. No coupons allowed with price matching as well.

I wonder if it is a market or manager variance because we have had reports of people getting the deal. Sorry it didn’t work for you.

When I was at Target today the mgr pulled out the policy and I read it myself saying no doorbuster or timed sales. No coupons allowed with price matching as well.. Cool some people got it count yourself lucky.

Does TRU accept competitor’s coupons? Would be another way to possibly get it for 0.49

Target does not match “Doorbuster” (timed event) sales, per management. They wouldn’t do it for me in Arizona.

It didn’t work at my Target and I called the other one in town and they said the same thing. No Doorbuster ads. I went to WalMart & they had it on sale for $9.00 but wouldn’t let me use the Target coupon. I thought they used competitor’s coupons (in fact I’m sure I’ve done it there before with Publix coupons) but two people I asked said they don’t.

From what I have heard, they have recently made changes to their policy and not accepting matchups on doorbusters or timed events. Sorry for any inconvenience.
