I went to my Target to do this deal today and was told by the associate that rang me up that they no longer accept manufacturer coupons printed from the internet!!! She asked 2 other employees who also said this but they could not produce a coupon policy that said this. Has anyone else had this problem?? I told them to take the candy off my transaction and I immediately called the customer service phone number when I got to my car. The girl I talked to said that I was right and they do accept online printed coupons. She told me to call the customer service number from in the store if this ever happens again. I am not happy!! I told the associate that they are going to lose a lot of sales/customers if this is true!
The assoc. was wrong. Target offers online printable coupons.
They said that they accept Target coupons printed online but no longer the manufacturer coupons. I am just glad that the rep I talked to on the customer service line said that I was right. The next time I shop there and they deny a coupon I will be calling from in the store.
