Just came back from MY first trip….only started couponing two weeks ago, so I’m working with a limited supply. Scouted out the CVS ECBs online, sorted thru my starter coupons, and off I went. After 5 coupons and earning $10 ECBs, I spent $12.11 and got the following: 1 gallon 2% milk, 1/2 gallon Stroh’s Ice Cream, 20 oz Lipton Green Tea (actually this was a MM), Irish Spring body wash, 2 Pantene conditioners, Always pads, Colgate Max toothpaste, Dep Sport Endurance gel, a pocket packet of tissues, and a bag of cheddar Chex Mix (all full size products). Now I’m a newbie, so I have a long way to go….but I was giddy about this. And I agree with Siby (below). Mojo realllllly helped me to know what I was doing. It is my new FAVORITE website.

I started couponing about couple of months ago and have seen a lot of money saving in my family. I too am saying now , ” I will never pay for toothbrush or toothpaste”. It can be overwhelming at first, but with great support like mojosavings site, you are in good hands and fellow couponers are always nice to help out with questions and concerns. The links in this article has helped me figure it all out (or most of it). One of the most important thing to do when couponing is of course, to be organized. You don’t want to have a coupon stored somewhere and not be used. The other thing for new couponers to keep in mind is to keep buying ONLY the things you need for your family (just because it’s on sale, doesn’t mean you need to buy it, yes! candy is very tempting at the drugstores especially if you think of them as a filler item.) If you are buying things you don’t need, you are not saving but spending. Happy couponing and saving !

I know its hard when u are on a budget and raising kids , its hard at times and sometimes you wonder how you are going to make it but thanks to mojo people from all walks of life are able to save money and get good freebies , i always thought cutting coupons was a waste of time ,but now i am eating those words, and i proudly take my coupons to the store and get great deals.

Hi everyone, I see many of you are in same boat I am. It is the called “Balance-beam” I am constantly balancing the budget and Christmas is making it quite a balancing act.
